The founder of the corporation, Valdemar Friman, bought his first bus in 1939. During the Second World War, Valdemar did his service by using his bus as an ambulance. After the war he began trafficing between Tammisaari and Tenhola. In 1958 he moved his company from Tenhola to Hanko. In 1967 Hangon Liikenne, Friman & Co was founded.
A modern company with traditions
Valdemar resigned from the company in 1976 but he was replaced by his children Siv, Camilla and Viking. Kristian left the company in 1995. The latest generational change happened in 2010 when Valdemar’s grand children Marcus Friman and Magnus Berglund took over the management of the company.
The bus park is modern and consists of ten buses, seven of which have air conditioning and two a lift for disabled people. The smallest bus has 19 seats and the biggest 50.
